Lifestyle photographer specializing in families, newborns and branding. Hello, my name is Nicole and I'm the owner/photographer of Rare Vision Photography.

Rare Vision was formed out of my passion for capturing moments and the beauty and uniqueness that God displays in each of them. I'm passionate about photography because it's more than an art form, it's unfolding a story. Stories are full of laughter, fear, fantasy, heartache, mischief, heroes, love, passion and so much more. Photographs capture the great times in a person's story and freezes it in

Week 3 of my birthday challenge is here—this week’s theme: Tiny Moments.

I’m inviting you to notice and capture those small, everyday details—the curl of a hand, the glow on your morning coffee, the quiet smile—that hold the biggest stories.

Check back to weeks 1 & 2 to rack up extra contest entries, then drop your Tiny Moment in the comments or tag a friend to join the celebration!

One line stopped me in my tracks this week — a foreign king said he saw God in Solomon.

It reminded me that as a follower of Jesus—and as a photographer working behind a lens—I have the privilege and honor to represent Him to every person I meet.

That truth shapes how I listen, how I create, and how I try to capture the dignity and light in others so they can glimpse the beauty of God.

How do you try to reflect Jesus in your everyday moments? Share below — I’d love to hear.

Quick 365 update: here are six recent frames that have been filling my camera roll and my heart. Whether it's family giggles, quiet alone time, or a sunlit nature moment, this daily practice keeps my creativity moving and pushes me to look for new angles. I love how showing up with my camera each day turns ordinary minutes into little stories I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Which of the six shots shown would you like to learn more about?

Flashback Friday — the moment before Aloj turned to see his bride for the first time. This was one of my favorite moments to capture — his pure, excited reaction and the way time seemed to stand still. Those honest, unscripted seconds are why I love photographing weddings. Happy First Anniversary, Elyssa and Aloj! Drop your anniversary wishes for them in the comments!

One of our family's favorite summer traditions? The Spirit of St. Louis Airshow — especially when the Blue Angels take the sky. We don't dive into the crowds; we claim a cozy spot nearby with chairs and snacks and soak up the roar from a comfortable distance. As a photographer, I get giddy seeing the shots I capture — those sleek lines and dramatic light always feel cinematic. What's a local tradition you look forward to every year? Tell me your favorite memory below!

Coffee + camera = my new favorite combo — and my latest shoot at Omen Coffee Company totally proved it. Tucked on Washington near Energizer Park, their brick walls are the dreamiest backdrop and the menu is full of good drinks and tasty eats. I tried the banana bread latte — creamy, packed with flavor and absolutely photo-worthy; a must-check next time you’re in the area. Have you been? Tell me your favorite local coffee spot or tag someone you’d bring!
