Mark your calendars for an exciting event at Saxquest on Tuesday, April 21. We'll be hosting a Selmer Saxophone Pro Day at the shop from 3pm – 8pm. Selmer will be on hand with a variety of their new horns in various finishes, for you to play-test and purchase. We'll have AXOS, Signature, and Supreme altos and tenors, and some Series II and III sopranos. Instant rebates for horns purchased at the event, and special financing for those that qualify. A great way to upgrade your horn in time for summer! Appointments are encouraged, so please call or email the shop to reserve a slot, and we'll see you there.

Fun day in the shop today with Dr. Craig Treinen, Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies/Applied Saxophone at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and some of his current students!!! Thanks for making the trek to St. Louis and keeping the history alive!!!

Tomorrow night (Tuesday) our doors will re-open 6:30p for a free performance!

PSA to all our local customers: Starting next week (March 9) our store hours will be changing to Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (still closed Wednesdays 12pm - 2pm for weekly staff meeting). Saturdays hours are unchanged and remain 10am - 2pm. We hope the extra hour in the morning will help out anyone needing to get through early. We may be able to stay open later during the week here or there by appointment only. And don't forget to mark your calendars for the JJ Babbitt - Theo Wanne event Saturday March 14 from 1pm - 3pm, will be a good time!

Saxquest is officially looking to fill an entry retail position. The position includes tasks such as packing, shipping, customer interaction, basic computer skills and product demonstration. This would be a set schedule (with flexibility), 20-25 hours a week. Generally working from 1pm to close during the week with some Saturday shifts.

Big Event Announcement!

Saxquest is excited to host a special Mouthpiece Day at our shop on Saturday, March 14th, co-hosted by team members from J.J. Babbitt Co. and Theo Wanne.

Join us for an exclusive opportunity to play-test the newly precision-enhanced Meyer and Otto Link mouthpieces. Attendees will be among the first to experience these revamped designs in person — and will have the rare chance to select and purchase one before the official release on April 1st.

This new collaboration between J.J. Babbitt Co. and Theo Wanne represents the start of a fresh chapter that promises to inspire a new wave of creativity for today’s players and for generations to come.

The event will take place at Saxquest on March 14th from 1–3 PM.

This is an open house event; however, we strongly encourage contacting us in advance to schedule an appointment for dedicated play-testing time, as space will be limited. Making an appointment will also give you the opportunity to work one-on-one with a product specialist if desired.
