The shortest route from the street to a home's personality...

Ever noticed how some homes feel warm the moment you walk in? And others just don't...
It's usually not the furniture.
Or the paint colour.
Or what's sitting on the shelves.

More often than not, it's the architecture itself. Wall paneling, ceiling details, custom millwork, wood doors — the things that add depth, texture, and character long before the décor goes in.

We've shared a few thoughts on why texture matters more than most people think. Read our latest blog.

Design is always more interesting when you get the chance to hear the stories behind it.

Rachel recently attended the ASID monthly Art Museum tour and lunch, where she had the opportunity to spend time with former ASID presidents Teddy Karl, Nancy Barrett, Kay Hagan, and Deb Bokamper, along with our wonderful docent, Dr. Susan.

She also caught up with designer Denise Dean at the Authorized Appliance grand reopening.

A great reminder that inspiration can come from unexpected places.

Our newest team member has officially arrived!
He showed up a little behind schedule (at 42 weeks!!)
Tipped the scales at just over 9 pounds...
Arrived with a gorgeous full head of hair...
and has already mastered the art of keeping everyone awake 😉

A huge congratulations to Nikita and her family on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy.
We're absolutely thrilled for you all. 💙

Not exactly the sunshine forecast we were hoping for... ☔️
But a little rain wasn't about to stop a great Builder's Day Picnic.
Rachel spent the day connecting with builders, partners, and industry friends at the HBA Builder's Day Picnic — including Candice Morgan from Premium Kitchen & Bath and Nick Luizza from NJL.
A fun way to kick off the week.🚀

The difference is hard to explain until you see it side by side.
Same house.
Completely different feeling.

Natural wood brings a warmth and presence that instantly changes the atmosphere of a space instantly — inside and out.

Swipe for the transformation.

Before it becomes a front entrance, it starts here.
Proportions.
Curves.
Sightlines.
Measurements most people will never notice consciously, but absolutely feel when they walk through the door.
The best custom work usually starts long before anything gets built.

You can feel when a space has history...
The worn corners.
The old timber.
The details nobody builds quite the same way anymore.

Getting to restore and work on spaces like these is always something special for us. From pew restoration to custom church doors, this is the kind of work we genuinely love doing.

We’re excited to continue expanding our work with churches and institutions across St. Louis.
