Thirteen years ago I left corporate America to build something of my own.

Today, people see Simply Clean, but they don’t always see the years of work behind it.

Thank you to our incredible team and loyal customers for making this journey possible. We truly appreciate every one of you. Here’s to the next chapter.

Every once in a while you get lucky and a business relationship crosses over into a personal friendship and that's what happened to me many years ago with Kerry Martin.

Kerry has been a part of our "soap team" for almost the entire time we've been in business. But honestly, calling him a "soap guy" isn't really the whole story here. He knew laundry chemistry better than anyone and taught me everything I know about getting stuff clean. Early on, we were all cloth diapers and I couldn't have done it without him. He was always willing to share his knowledge.. I could call him anytime with a chemistry question and always got that jolly "Hell-o" when he picked up.

But our conversations were always more than just laundry. We talked about life, our families, our businesses, and everything in between. He genuinely cared about Kathy, our kids, and how Simply Clean was doing. I was usually calling with some pressing chemistry issue but he always ended the call with "how is Kathy doing? the kids good?"

I owe so much of our growth and success to him and Kurt. But I’m also better off because of what he taught me as a person.

Rest easy, my friend. You will be missed

This week we celebrated Jeanette and her 10 years with Simply Clean. She started with us when we had just one table and 2 washers in a 1250 square foot facility. She literally washes tons of residential laundry each week and keeps it straight and organized. We appreciate you Jeanette.

Today we paused to say "We Appreciate You" to our Incredible Team. We had an amazing April and good people keep this place moving. Every pickup, delivery, washed load, and folded order takes teamwork. We’re thankful for every member of our team and everything they do behind the scenes to take great care of our customers. And tomorrow... we tackle more laundry.

Nobody wants a laundry basket for Easter.
