What does this all mean?

I am certified and have experience to help you and your family through pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum and more. I support and educate through the whole process how ever you need. This can include childbirth education, physical and emotional support through pregnancy, labor/ delivery and postpartum support whether that is taking baby while you sleep a few hours, cooking dinner so you have have baby snuggles or just someone to talk to who understands what you are going through. 💛

This is what doula support looks like in the wee hours of morning in your own home. Where you feel most comfortable and safe. Where your toddler is sleeping and partner is getting much needed rest as well.
This moment was stealthily captured by the amazing midwife Nicole of South Shore Home Birth Midwifery as we both kept watch and held space for this magnificent person.
This moment was 30-60 seconds of rest in between strong surges, and anyone knows that when one contraction goes away, you let go and rest in between. And that’s what’s happening here.
Doulas will hold you in their hearts, hold your hands, and your throw up basin. It’s just what we do[la]. ❤️
