KPFF St. Louis is proud to have provided structural engineering services for the Missouri Primary Care Association Headquarters, the new Roy Blunt Center for Healthcare Integration & Innovation in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Working alongside Arcturis, our team helped bring this three-story building to life with features that support collaboration, innovation, and community impact. The project includes two freestanding structurally engineered bamboo entrance pergolas, a mass timber entrance lobby with Southern Yellow Pine CLT decking and glulam beams and columns, a monumental stair within a three-story atrium, an auditorium with a rooftop photovoltaic system, first-floor museum space, and collaborative office and conference areas.
This project reflects the power of thoughtful design and engineering working together to create spaces that serve people in meaningful ways.
KPFF Team: Joseph Carpenter, PE, LEED AP, and Jules Kere, PhD
Architect and Landscape Designer: Arcturis, St. Louis

Project Spotlight!
Structural work is officially complete at the Wichita Biomedical Campus, with the full project on track for completion in 2027.
Located in Wichita, Kansas, this new 370,000 square foot Health Sciences Education Center will serve as a centralized campus bringing together programs and clinics for the KU School of Medicine, KU School of Pharmacy, Wichita State University College of Health Professions, and WSU Tech. The five story facility will be supported by a central utility plant and designed to foster collaboration across disciplines.
This campus is built to support the future of health care through:
• Emerging research
• Biomedical and health care education
• Advanced laboratories
• Clinical research environments
Looking forward to seeing this space continue to take shape as it prepares to serve students, educators, and the broader community.

A landmark project is taking shape for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, blending new construction with thoughtful renovation to support both performance and practice.
The project features a monumental new entry, a structurally and acoustically isolated practice facility, and renovations to the theater seating area to enhance the audience experience. A combination of steel, reinforced concrete, and curtainwall systems supports the complex structural and acoustic demands while creating a strong architectural presence.
KPFF is proud to be part of a project that celebrates music, performance, and community, providing spaces that support artists and audiences alike for years to come.
