An evening with the sweetest senior dog in and around Lafayette Park, one of the older parks in the city and one of my most beloved parks, just felt like a good match.

Starting a new series for June and I already know these sessions are going to mean a lot to me.

We had such a beautiful day yesterday at celebrating the special bond between people and their pups. So many sweet moments, wagging tails, happy smiles, and dogs soaking up every second of attention (as they should 😂).

Getting to capture these little moments of love and connection is always such a reminder that family comes in so many forms, and every one of them deserves to be celebrated.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared hugs, laughs, cuddles, and trusted me to photograph your crew. I loved meeting you all. ❤️

Been wanting to work on this project for a while now. I'm obsessed with it already. Bought a couple new fabrics. Can't wait to keep exploring at upcoming sessions.

Last week it was gray and cold, and now the redbuds and magnolias are starting to bloom — and daylight savings happened. I can’t believe it’s already spring! Definitely snuck up on me. Anyone else feeling the same?

It’s one of my favorite times of year in St. Louis… but I hate to say it — one nasty storm and all these petals are gone.
