A common concern for people facing an early diagnosis of dementia is a loss of independence; a feeling that, by receiving help, you will lose control and your sense of self. EverTrue believes that asking for support when you need it can help you maintain your independence longer. Choosing where and how you live, both for now and for your changing needs, helps you remain in control.

When the time comes that you need memory support, EverTrue’s innovative StillYou® philosophy will guide your care because we focus on you and who you are. We focus on relationships, your individual strengths and a holistic approach to wellbeing that sets the standard in memory care.

It’s Juneteenth — the day we commemorate the abolition of slavery in the United States. Also known as Emancipation Day and Freedom Day, it celebrates freedom for all and honors the perseverance of African Americans, as well as the ongoing journey toward racial equality.

As a faith-based organization, we recall the words of Paul, “For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

May we embrace those words and remain ever true to the call for freedom and justice.

Happy National Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Week! Join us in recognizing the unbelievable dedication of CNAs and the incredible work they do caring for older adults every day.

At EverTrue, our nursing assistants are essential to delivering hands-on care to residents in our communities and Care Centers, as well as providing personalized support to clients and patients through EverTrue Anywhere Care. They are the frontline of care. For many, our EverTrue CNAs can be the lifeline that supports their needs, from morning to night.

Let’s thank CNAs for the positive impact they bring to aging services and to our residents and clients of EverTrue. They help make it possible for older adults to live life to the fullest!

Happy Senior Health and Fitness Day! Did you know it is recommended that older adults (with physician approval) engage in 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity plus muscle-strengthening activities at least twice a week?

This doesn’t mean you need to do vigorous aerobics classes or lift heavy weights at the gym. Brisk walking, hiking and swimming are all excellent examples of aerobic activities, while exercises like chair squats or using resistance bands can make a significant difference in helping maintain strength and physical function.

EverTrue wants to keep our residents and clients physically active in the way that works best for them! Find out why staying physically active has so many health benefits for older adults: https://ow.ly/zxvh50YUFOo

EverTrue is leading the aging services industry through innovation in Memory Care by harnessing the power of AI.

Through partnership with Daugherty Enterprises, EverTrue launched an immersive training platform Better Path AI, where caregivers can practice the communication skills and empathy needed to assist residents with dementia.

Using AI-driven avatars to represent various stages of dementia, the Better Path AI trainings simulate real conversations and provide real-time feedback, all guided by EverTrue’s StillYou philosophy and the CARES model.
