Isaiah 58 MInistries is a collaborative, ecumenical ministry begun in 1970 as 5 Church Association. Five area churches, seeing the need for such a ministry in the community, came together to create this wonderful ministry. It has evolved over the years, and now serves over 600 families every month through its various services.

Missouri lawmakers spent part of this year’s legislative session arguing that the state should steer low-income families away from buying candy, soda and desserts with public benefits.
Then they passed a budget that eliminates $2 million for a program designed to help those same families buy more fruits and vegetables.
