Looking Back Toward the Future: Contemporary Photography from China features more than forty large-scale photographs by fourteen contemporary Chinese artists created between 1993 and 2006, exploring the dramatic social, political, and cultural changes in China following the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests.

This ASL tour was made possible by the Missouri Arts Council , the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis , the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) , and Starkloff Disability Institute .

πŸˆπŸ’™ What an incredible day at the 3rd Annual Deaf Awareness Day with the Battlehawks!

A huge shoutout to Rachel Ebner for her stunning ASL performance of the National Anthem. Her signing was featured on the JumboTron throughout the anthem, allowing thousands of fans to experience its beauty and meaning. πŸ€ŸπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Also, a shoutout to Battlehawks for providing captioning throughout the game, too.

While the Battlehawks didn’t come away with the win, our Deaf community showed up strong, filled the stands with energy, and had an amazing time cheering together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success!

The season isn’t over yet! As the No. 2 seed, the St. Louis Battlehawks will face the Louisville Kings on June 7. A victory will send them to the championship game on June 13. πŸ†
