On Memorial Day, we pause together to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Great energy yesterday at the Hazelwood School District and Future In Action (FIA) expo at St. Louis Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing Center!

AMICSTL was proud to be part of the lineup of organizations showcasing hands-on training opportunities and real pathways into advanced manufacturing. The turnout spanned every age – grade school through adults – all exploring what’s possible.

Seeing our community come together to support the next generation of talent contributes to why this works matters.

What will actually happen inside AMICSTL?
A lot, and much of it is already happening today.

Across the region, AMICSTL and our partners are already:
- Collaborating on R&D to solve real manufacturing production challenges
- Prototyping and testing new ideas, materials, and processes
- Integrating workforce training directly with industry needs
- Bringing manufacturers, educators, and engineers together to accelerate innovation

Our 52,000-square-foot facility, opening early in 2027, will take this work to the next level by expanding capacity, deepening collaboration, and giving companies a shared space to move ideas from concept to capability even faster.

AMICSTL isn’t waiting for a building to create impact. We’re building momentum now, and the facility will amplify and grow what’s underway.
