That one time HandleBar was a jewelry store & subject of a heist by armed gangsters. The Meaghers were definitely in on it.

Today is Give STL Day!

A reminder to support local non profits that do all they can to make this world a little better.

I decided to support the St. Louis Crisis Nursery - an incredible organization I learned about from a homeless mother a few years ago. The nursery provides a short-term safe haven for over 4,000 children every year whose families face an emergency caused by illness, homelessness, domestic violence, or overwhelming parental stress.

I believe that overwhelmingly, people are strong and people are good, but for many the path in life is not easy. We all fall on hard times and encounter challenges in our lives. And that's why supporting local non profits be it with your money or time is essential - because they strengthen communities by providing critical services, such as education, healthcare, and social support, that often fill gaps left by government or for-profit sectors. And what's more important than a strong community?!

So please, check out STL Community Foundation, and support a non-profit that resonates with you today!
