The long process of organizing what's been drawn, what needs redrawn, & what still needs drawn. Never let having no idea what you are doing stop you from doing it. 😆 After drawing for nearly 3 years, at times in a seemingly aimless fashion, I have finally bridged some of the main story beats together and something resembling an actual story with a beginning and an end. After reading James O'Barr's outlaw graphic novel, "The Crow", I was relieved to find out it took him nearly a decade to finish the story in its original indie b&w, five issue format. "The Night Watchman" won't have the outsized cultural impact of that book, of course, but I'm feeling positive about the way things are going. There's room for another book with the vampire! And I think it's got every bit of Netflix potential as "Stranger Things" 😆 Call my people!
