Howard acoustic will be playing this Saturday, 8/30, at Dugout Bar in Fountain Square. We really enjoy the patio and atmosphere and think that you will, too! We'll play from 6:30-9:30 or so, so feel free to swing by as part of a nice Fountain Square/Virginia Ave. evening in Indy!

Labor Day weekend hours!
No Breakfast
Sat. Opening 2pm and Hot Ball Bingo at 3pm! $1000 for 60 #’s or less and extra $500 if Bingo on Hot Ball used only 1 time.
Sunday opening at 2pm
Monday normal business hours with our Monday night $6 burgers 🍔

We had a great time at The Coterie on Friday, and it was great to be back in Kokomo and see old friends. Thanks again to the team at the Coterie, a music-first venue with great sound and lights, and a friendly staff.

Howard was honored to be included as a band for the 2024 Tonic Ball, sponsored by Eskanazie Health Health, and benefitting Second Helpings. With 5 stages and tons of great Indy-area bands, the night is annually one of the best of the year, and we were thrilled to take part again. This year we played the Fountain Square Theatre, and were joined by Nancy Herndon, Jamika Jones, and Brandi Jones singing backup and leads, Guy Vreeman on keys, and the Dysfunktion Brass band. Special thanks to Mark Ortwein for joining, as well. And we certainly must thank Amanda Salsbery Isom for providing the spoken word lines from Maggot Brain (a Funkadelic tune) with real conviction. We also played Dear Prudence (Beatles/JGB style), I Can't Go For That (Hall & Oates), Tear for Eddie (Ween) and House of the Rising Sun (traditional, Idris Muhammed version). Here are some videos, wish we had more to share. But the night was grand, and we saw many stellar performances from other bands and musicians.
