Another day, another tub!
However, I would argue that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this gem...to each their own
It is beautiful either way!

This tub and tile surround were done moons ago correctly! It was done possibly up to 15 years ago. See y'all, it can last 10+ years when done properly and taken care of!
It was failing in a few places, but was almond. It was finally time to redo, and brighten the room up!
Truly honored to be trusted with this project! Their standards are high. Ours are higher. Thank you again to this couple for trusting us with their space!

When our local chief of police (who is a regular) calls in a favor, ya get it knocked out.
He is a prime example of how our regulars bless us. He makes this part of the city have a small town feel. He's one of those neighbors if you need something you call. He's one of those that ends every conversation with love you guys and big hugs (if in person). Saw him at Sherwin Williams once, he gave me a big ol hug and said love ya! I got asked if we're family. No, not by blood, but that is precisely the connection we make with our clients. Y'all are more than a job, paycheck, and food on our table.
You're family.

After the video, they asked can the tub be saved. Of course you can!!! As long as there isn't obvious signs of water damage because if there are, we won't take your money. Everything still has to be structurally sound.
Luckily, they caught this early!
Walked em through removing the tub fitter and the adhesive. (See video for before and what it was doing!)
Now, the tub is lovely again! Did the vanity to match!
So one of our regulars sent me this one day (they said I could share). They said AI says it could be bubbles from reglazing. I laughed...and hard... because I knew it was WAYYYYY wrong.
This is why you say NO to tub fitters. Period.
Eventually, somehow, some way whether it's a crack, chip, ding, a seal came loose, something, water will get in between things. This is typically how it starts; water between the tub fitter and the original tub which creates (as you can see) a water bed type effect.
If you don't catch it early too, remember water will find a way out....to where, well that's the question. Could be flooring, walls, studs, joists, you name it. then you're looking at a full gut job due to water damage.
And before you ask, no this isn't a one off either. We see this a couple times a year or so.
Call us instead! We will gladly help! Plus, we are more affordable, in the short term and the long term😉

Spent the past couple days in the Delmar loop bringing back some shine to 2 spaces. This tub and clients: 😍
We truly get blessed with some great clients y'all! The kind of humans that pour back into us. We give 100% plus daily, and it's the 2 of us 24/7. Thank you guys for refilling our cup too. We appreciate you more than y'all know!
