Look who is coming to the St. Louis County Library! We always enjoy reading the Jasper Rabbit books by Aaron Reynolds here in the Hagemann Library.

From the author of the bestselling and Caldecott Medal-winning “Creepy Carrots!” comes the first entry in a spin-off chapter book. Aaron Reynolds will discuss his new book “Troubling Tonsils!” next week at the Clark Family Branch. www.slcl.org/authors. Presented with The Novel Neighbor.

What a fantastic day at the Book Battle! Over 200 students competed by answering questions about this year’s Mark Twain nominee books. After 8 rounds of questions, one of our Hagemann tables was tied for the lead with a perfect score! Two tie-breaker questions later, they secured a 2nd place finish…out of 37 teams!! Way to go, Hawks! I am so proud of them!!
