Fantastic dinner tonight at Black Salt! The samosas were crispy, chutneys were 🔥 and that sampler platter was so full of flavor. Don’t skip the garlic naan. Would definitely recommend! What’s your favorite Indian spot in STL?

Looking for dinner with a view?

Ramsay Kitchen at the Four Seasons has an amazing view of the arch and the fish and chips and burrata are delicious. And don’t skip the sticky toffee pudding!

Service started out a bit rocky but the server more than made up for it. Things happen sometimes but I do appreciate when it’s acknowledged and made right vs ignored.

The food is pricey but portion sizes are large and it’s a beautiful spot for a special event. We did brunch and a little gambling at the casino attached but dinner is delicious also.

999 N Second St St Louis - inside the Four Seasons attached to Horseshoe Casino.

What restaurant has your favorite view in the city?

Russell's is such a cute lunch spot! They do a pick two combo and those desserts! 😍😍😍

I had a summer grilled cheese and a kitchen sink salad with an iced mocha and a turtle brownie. If you’re in the Fenton area, I recommend giving it a try.

What’s your go to lunch spot?

Cute cafe alert! 🚨 🚨 🚨

Cafe Fleur De Lis

Coffee was 10/10. I had a mocha frappe and husband had iced mocha.

Limited food menu but we enjoyed the Bbq chicken crepe and the turkey sausage sandwich is nothing to look at but my husband found it very tasty. I’d skip the cinnamon roll and try a different pastry next time but would definitely return for the coffee alone.

One of the best sandwiches and it was only $10.30 + tax! 😍

Paris Banh Mi - St. Louis in the Delmar Loop. Giant Bahn Mi sandwiches - I had the traditional grilled pork and my husband had the pork belly.

They come with cucumbers, pickled radish and carrots, jalapeño, cilantro and a house sauce.

I had a coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had passion fruit tea.

After that giant sandwich I was so full but they had a delicious loooing dessert case as well.

What is your favorite spot in Delmar? I have never had a bad meal there!

At Arnold Farmers Market this morning and tried ROLD food truck.

They sell egg rolls in various flavors. We got he 20 pack and my husband and I each tried 10 flavors.

My favorite: Buffalo Chicken
My husband: Oreo Cheesecake

$27 and we are both full! What a fun idea. Have you tried them? If so what’s your favorite flavor?

Tomorrow is National Donut Day! I went a day early to Mochi Sweets in S County to enjoy some mochi donuts. If you haven’t tried mochi donuts they have rice flour in them so they are chewier than typical donuts and they usually come in a distinct round shape.

Flavors I tried today were:
Strawberry Cheesecake
Mango
Chocolate toffee crunch
Fruity Pebbles
Nutella
Blueberry Lemon

And I added a Brown Sugar milk tea with boba as well!

Super cute place and very friendly and the donuts were delicious!

Are you Team Traditional Donut or Team Mochi Donut? Where do you plan to celebrate National Donut Day tomorrow?

Ok foodies - the James Beard Awards are coming up soon and STL is representing this year!!

Congrats to all of the finalists. It’s great to see the amazing food scene we have get some national recognition.

While I think Nick Bognar is technically nominated for Sado- Pavillion, INDO - STL is my absolute favorite spot in St. Louis. I love the crispy dumplings, I love the garlic noodles. They have interesting flavors, delicious food and it’s just a cozy intimate vibe with amazing service.

If you’re looking for a date night that will impress without being stuffy it’s a great stop. Get reservations on the weekends - it’s small so books up.

What is your absolute favorite spot in STL?

Oh and Nick if you see this can you consider bringing back the pork steak lettuce wraps? You had them as a special the first time I went in 2022 and I still think about them! 😍

It’s located at 161D Tower Grove Ave St Louis MO 63110.

Hidden gem breakfast spot!

Clara B's Kitchen Table in Belleville Illinois located in an old train depot is adorable and the food was delicious!

Loaded burrito with chorizo and bacon, breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese on a pretzel bun and a lemon curd and berry pancake.

The mocha from Long Shot Coffee was delicious as well.

What hidden gem breakfast spot should we try next?
