Congratulations to Michelle Cullen, Early Childhood Speech Langauge Pathologist, who won the Special School District of St. Louis County Lasting Impression Award!

The Lasting Impression Award honors SSD staff who positively impact students through support outside of the classroom. Social workers, therapists, bus drivers, maintenance workers, specialists, and many more, contribute to each student’s experience in countless ways, leaving a lasting impression. This year's honorees reflect the vastness of this talented group and demonstrate that every job at SSD offers us the opportunity to be part of something special.

Congratulations to our own, Donna Washington! She was recognized as a Building Block award winner by Special School District of St. Louis County for her important work as a paraprofessional!

SSD employs an average of 1,700 paraprofessionals each year. These assistants and aides work in our partner districts and SSD schools and assist students through their full school day, providing the support and encouragement that helps our students realize success. The Building Block award honors the critical work and significant impact made by our paraprofessionals. Congratulations to this year's winners! https://www.ssdmo.org/buildingblock
