Once tear down of the old deck is complete, it's important to spend time taking measurements, marking layout & prepping the house as much as you can. --- Solving problems beforehand makes the actual installation run smoothly!

After fully supporting the porch awning, we could then remove the metal columns and send them off to be cleaned up & refinished.
Then came the repairs to the concrete porch. Any loose areas had to be fully removed and then the entire surface was cleaned. Once dry, we could then start the patch repairs and resurfacing process.
The next step was to attach the Pressure-Treated framing structure to the newly repaired concrete porch using specialty masonry fasteners.
And finally, it was time to add the new finish surface! Deckorators composite decking was used to cover the entire porch. After consulting with the client, we decided to go with their Vista Driftwood colorway!

Touch up paint time! Blue tape markers make it easier to identify problem areas, and improve efficiency when coming back through for a little TLC.
