I've been pretty MIA this summer. We've been so busy with our little one's therapies, IEP Meeting, and Autism testing coming up that social media has not been a priority. However, that's not to say I haven't been working on some projects for the coming months. I finished this sweater a couple weeks ago and I'm obsessed with how it turned out.

I lost the game of yarn chickenπŸ” with 2 separate projects this morning. So I gave up and decided to tackle this chaotic mess I've been purposely avoiding for probably close to a year.
Send help and coffee!!!

Sundays are for old lady s**t.... Decided at Walmart this morning I would attempt a cross stitch pattern having never done one before.
This should be entertaining, and probably frustrating.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I really love the way these rings turned out minus the crappy handwriting, still trying to figure that one out.

I've got 9 classic rainbow Ally rings with the saying "Straight but not narrow" I'll probably start working on other LGBTQA+ colorways this weekend.

If nobody hears from me for a few days just know I'm OK. I'm just thoroughly invested in being a witch and exploring Hogwarts.

Well, I woke up the other day with a swollen finger that appears to have some kind of infection. Can't get it checked out until Monday so unfortunately no crocheting this week. However, I got to wake up to a fully downloaded Jurassic World Evolution 2 to play, thanks to the amazing hubby.

Towards the end of last year my sister and her family moved into a new home that happened to come with an inground pool. I knew that meant my little niece needed a swimwear cover up dress to wear poolside. The issue came into play that my niece is taller and skinnier than most girls her age so none of the patterns I found looked like they would fit properly. I was over halfway through a pattern and I hated it with this yarn, so I ripped it all apart and went back to the drawing board. This time I designed my own pattern customed to fit my niece with plenty of room to grown as well. I was able to work up a pattern that's customizable for size and beginner friendly, plus the sparkel in this yarn adds to the cuteness factor.
Thus was born the Cherry on Top swim cover!

Being a boy mom doesn't mean I don't make the cute girlie patterns. However, it does mean that all the little girls in my life end up with their wardrobes looking like this. Loved the ease and versatility of this pattern.

Pattern name: Ring Around the Rosie Vest
Pattern Designer: The Lavender Chair
