I owe a lot to this girl because I make her go in the most awkward places like furniture stores or rug stores and make her model for me. 😂 The best part is she does it all with a smile on her face. Cailin, you are one of my biggest role models in life and I’m thankful that we’ve gone from family friends to family. You work so hard and are doing and will continue to do amazing things in life. Here I watch this girl plead why.
Why is it that her lover makes her cry?

Why can’t she stand up for herself and dare to defy?
It’s so easy for you to tell her to come here.
But isn’t it possible she wants to be elsewhere?
You think you have the right to tell her don’t cut her hair.
Is it you who has to deal with all the grooming and care?
Why do you think that you know what’s best?
Because when times are bad, you want her to fix everything while you cry on her chest.
Why do you tell her to just look good and you will take care of the rest?
And not value her career because you think soon she’ll be in the nest.
Let me tell you where you should stand.
Things run differently on this land.
Your value and her value go hand in hand.

Grad season begins!

A little earth appreciation 🌎🌍🌏

You are just like the water on my windshield.
As soon as you come to me, I have no choice but to yield.
The sound of the rain mimicking the sound of your voice, both so powerful it is the only sound that comes to me.
There’s breathtaking hills, trees, and greenery all around me but because you are here those are none of the things I see.
And as beautiful as you are, you are not safe.
So I turn on my wipers, and now you are erased.
I can’t let you cloud my vision.
Because my journey ahead needs to be my ambition.
