Besides design, project management, and remodel work, I have another trick up my sleeve—party decorations! Recently designed/decorated Tina Watkins baby shower—from Pinterest photo inspiration to real life. Invitation and welcome sign design, made a huge mess blow drying pampas in my kitchen for custom pampas bouquet vase arrangements 😆, custom table arrangements, create-a-onesie station, baby’s first ABC book station, balloon arch, favors, table signs, and more! Finding a countertop that was classic, not too modern for this space, AND a backsplash tile that complemented the busy floor tile was a challenge 😅.

This little beauty had seen better days, and we weren’t even sure we could salvage it. But we couldn’t say no to a gorgeous antique with character, stories, and a family for which it held sentimental value who wanted it to live on!

We replaced floor deck boards, old slats and screen (with a much sturdier pet screen), power washed, sanded, stained, and cemented a couple of bad footings. Many props and gratitude to Eric Taylor for a job well done!
