H. C. Sharp Company is proud to be celebrating its 75th anniversary. Founded in 1947 by Henry Cordes Sharp (pictured standing in the attached image), an Industrial Engineering graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL. Henry served as president of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. When it came to making air behave and making air work in a building, Henry was the go-to expert. He was even nicknamed “Mr. Air."

Jerry Haas, Don Hanlon, Jr. and Warren Shockmiller purchased the company in 1970. Warren retired in 1990 and Don passed away in 1995 leaving Jerry as sole owner. Jerry passed away in 2019, today the business remains in the Haas Family.

While H. C. Sharp Co. started in 1947 by representing Herman Nelson Co. and New York Blower Co. Today H. C. Sharp, Co. represents over 25 manufacturers of the most successful lines of Ventilation, Heating, and Air Distribution products available in the industry today.
