With no small amount of thought and deliberation, the members of Sarkatha have elected to put the band in its current form on indefinite hiatus due to personal health and creative reasons.

Black metal, while passionate, is an artistic box, allowing for only a limited range of subject matter and emotion to be explored within its sonic palette.

It has also conjured a foul demon upon us: tendinitis.

We want to give great thanks to everyone who has supported us throughout the time we have been playing shows. The members of Sarkatha will return in the future, and at present continue to make music in the bands Drastic Plastic, Foil ( .kcmo ), and Nästy Vömmit ( ). Check them out in the mean time.
