What. A. Weekend.

Being nominated for a award is something we’ll never take for granted. Getting to spend the weekend surrounded by so many talented chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality people from across the country was surreal in the best way.

And then St. Louis showed up.

Seeing so many restaurants from our city recognized on a national stage was incredibly special, and when of and was named Best Chef: Midwest, it felt like the whole St. Louis food community had something to celebrate.

A huge thank you to our teams at .stl, .stl, and .stl. None of this happens without the people who show up every day, take care of our guests, support each other, and pour so much into this work.

Heading home inspired, grateful, and very proud to be part of this city.

Buttery slices of hamachi paired with a savory sauce inspired by the bold flavors of Northern Thailand. Built from aromatic fish paste and balanced with just enough coconut milk to round everything out, it’s the kind of dish that keeps people coming back. Every. Single. Time.

Blending Japanese technique with flavors rooted in Chef Nick’s Thai heritage, it’s become a signature here at Sado and .stl for good reason.

At this point, it’s officially a cult classic.

Between the multiple award nominations, countless meetings, viral content moments, new concept launch 👀 , and still putting out some of the best food in the city, somehow also found time to get married.
