Show Me People First promotes equality for people with disabilities. This chapter is for and is run by Self-Advocates! All self advocates are welcome to join!

Show Me People First promotes equality for people with disabilities so we can live the life we want in the community. We hold the key to achieving our goals and dreams without any influences from outside stakeholders. We have full control of our chapters direction and do not believe in limiting membership to only self-advocates who's disability falls with in a predetermined category.

Congrats to our own AMF Board Member, Jasmine Chen, on being awarded the 2021 diversity and inclusion award through the MO Lawyers Media! We are so proud and honored to have such an amazing leader on our board.

Attorney Jasmine Chen’s estate planning practice focuses
on helping families enhance their lives today and secure
their futures tomorrow. She excels in guiding her clients
through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal
decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of each
of her clients’ families and the accomplishment of their
cherished family goals. Her deep subject matter
knowledge and experience in trust and estate litigation are
essential in preventing defects that could lead to litigation
if not properly addressed in the planning stage.
Determined to make estate plans actually work for her
clients, Jasmine provides new services that other estate
planning firms simply do not offer.
Moreover, Jasmine serves on the Board of Directors of the Adam Morgan Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and creates inclusive opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and neurodiverse individuals and is committed to serving families of loved ones with special needs. She provides guidance for legal and life care planning and most importantly, she stands by these families through on-going
challenges.
Originally from Taiwan, Jasmine is licensed in both Missouri and New York. Her practice includes estate planning, special needs planning, guardianship, and conservatorship, probate
and trust administration, and probate and trust litigation.
Jasmine has built and continues to build a practice that addresses the lifetime needs of her clients. Her firm builds clients for life.
In January 2021, Jasmine received the Missouri Lawyers Media Diversity & Inclusion Award which acknowledges her dedication to advancing diversity, inclusion, and the dignity of all
people. Most importantly, Jasmine is the proud wife of Dave and proud mother of her sons, Austin and Justin.
