Mark your calendars for Sunday Funday kickball on Sunday afternoon, June 28. Bring the whole family!

Are you ready to sing? We’re gathering together on Thursday, Jun 18 from 6:30-7:30PM for the another Refuge Hymn Sing to worship God through the songs that the Church has sung throughout her storied life. Whether you’ve been part of a tradition that sung hymns regularly or not, this will be a great time for us to come together as a family and join our voices in praise to our great God.
We’re going old school with a piano (instead of a band) and hymnals (instead of projectors). Everyone in your family is invited (and encouraged) to join in learning the hymns of our faith but childcare will be provided for younger children as needed.

Sunday School is back for the summer!
This class is a book study of Curt Thompson’s Anatomy of the Soul. Through the book and our discussions we will introduce some basic concepts related to mental health, such as emotions, attachment, some basic neurobiology, as well as how to understand mental health issues from a Christian perspective
We will meet 6 times over the summer from 9-9:50AM on Jun 14, Jun 28, Jul 12, Jul 26, Aug 2, Aug 16. Childcare is available, sign up in the app now!

Over the past several decades there has been a great shrinking of confidence in many institutions, including the church. Throughout the month of May, we are going to examine what the Church was designed to be while acknowledging her flaws. We will examine our presumptions, perhaps revealing a naive faith in individualism. What benefits might still be beautiful and redemptive in being part of a community of sinners made and being made new? Join us in looking at The Reason for Church.
