Meet Tatumn Kibbe. She is a wonderful substitute at Hollister R-V School District. She says her favorite thing about being a sub is being able to jump in where needed and meet all kinds of students. We appreciate you, Tatumn!

Introducing Richard Williams, a dedicated substitute with ESS serving the Center School District. Richard thrives on the variety that each day of subbing brings, embracing the unique challenges that come with every classroom. What he enjoys most is being around the students, their energy, curiosity, and personalities make each day meaningful and rewarding for him.

Fun Fact! The current 50-star flag was designed by a 17-year-old student for a school project in 1958! He originally received a B-, but his grade was changed to an A after President Eisenhower chose his design.

This is Stephanie Blaylock, who serves in a secretarial sub position for Center School District. She especially enjoys working in the elementary buildings, with a particular fondness for Yellowjacket Early Learning Center. Stephanie describes subbing as a very pleasant and rewarding experience, and she loves being part of a supportive school community.

Meet Donna Carlson, a wonderful substitute at Hannibal Public School District #60. She was asked her favorite thing about being a substitute and she answered, “There are many favorites for me about being a substitute. The youthful energy is amazing, students are always very polite and ask about my day, the teachers have meaningful work, and the greetings from the staff make me feel welcome. What is not to enjoy!”
