Well I have never had an experience like we did today. I have shot a few swans in my day. But today they did it dirty. At one point I felt like I was snow goose hunting with a tornado over me.

We got all three down with in 30 minutes of shooting light. Continued decoying birds for another hour before they finally settled down.

Well with northern opener behind us and many people having been out for the first hunt of the season, how did everyone do? Let’s see some pics! Even if it was just an amazing sunrise!

Amazing morning yesterday!!! Quality time with the boys even though we didn’t have a hunter we still had a blast…. Oh note to self don’t tell the boys they are coming til I wake them up the day of the hunt. Alarm set for 3:30 am and leave by 4 turned kids waking me up at 1:45 and getting to our location at 4….
