National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) sponsored by Boy Scouts of America Leadership requires vision, goals, planning, and team work.
Timberline NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training) is entirely run by a Staff of youth that range from 14 to 18 years in age. Scouting is a boy-led program, and this helps put the "boy" more strongly in charge. Hi All,
Due to all of the chaos of reorganizing the 3 Councils in Utah (including the Utah National Parks Council), and the new concerns with Corona Virus we have chosen to not run our Timberline NYLT course this June. We encourage all to move forward and put into action all of the leadership skills that you have learned in the past. True leadership is needed where you are right now. Remember Leadership skills are rarely refined in the comfort of everyday living. Leadership skills will be most desperately needed when it is most difficult to lead. We as a staff believe in you and encourage you to check back in for future plans. We are praying for you.
We are planning on Timberline course for the 3rd week of June.
