How long will the permit take? — exterior edition 🏗️
Real answer: depends on what you’re doing and where. Roofing permit can clear in a week. A deck or addition might sit for weeks to even months if this is your first time.
We map this out in preconstruction before anything gets scheduled. Because nobody wants a crew booked and ready to go while the city’s still sitting on paperwork.
That’s kind of the whole point of planning ahead — you’re not finding out about delays after they’ve already cost you time.
