My daughter, Sarah Safsten, and I are so excited to be teaching together at our piano studio, Ivory Arts Music Studio! We offer a comprehensive music education for students of all ages.

We’re formally trained, certified, and licensed music educators with decades of teaching experience. We share a deep commitment to our students’ joy and confidence in music.

Sam and River have been students at Ivory Arts Music Studio ever since they were 3 years old, and have played piano together for many years. Now, they're back at it again: preparing another exciting duet for our summer recital! They get better and better every year. They work hard, they practice smart, and we love their attitude. We sure are proud of these talented brothers! Thank you for being part of our studio! We love you!

Throwback Thursday to Mrs. T's graduation from BYU with her B.A. in Piano and Voice Performance and Pedagogy! We're so grateful for the inspiring teachers who gave Mrs. T. the knowledge and opportunity to play, perform, and teach piano. Because of them, she has offered hundreds of students over 40 years the gift of music.

FREE carillon concert at BYU tonight at 7:00 p.m!! A carillon is an instrument at the top of a bell tower that looks like an organ but sounds like hundreds of bells. You play the huge wooden keys by punching them with your fists! Bring your family and a picnic blanket to the grass surrounding the BYU Bell Tower tonight and enjoy this beautiful and fascinating concert! Remember it's FREE! See you there!

Music-making is joyful! Singing, moving to music, playing instruments, and listening to music are all naturally delightful experiences for children and adults alike.
