Solid Clean night in the 250 class for the Flyin 9.
We experimented with some stuff and was able to tamp down on the arm pump but at the tax of some overall speed. On to the next one!

Moments like these make those late week night grinds so much sweeter.
Landon is aight, banged up a bit. His head got rocked pretty violently on the Lap #2 Heat race flip. On the sliver side he showed no signs of concussion as the gear did its job thank God. Other than that kid is in good spirits considering the past 6 months of on track trials.
We hustled up and fully rebuilt both the front and rear-end with a few minutes to spare for the main. Landon fought hard and grinded it out in the Open A main with a see-saw for tubes probably netting on the short side of 30 % cross weight. 18 Drew no cautions and caught the checks & we are proud for that. P-10 Result on the night.
We will stack the scrap pile a bit taller and keep pushing forward.

The Daunting Dega Triangle, as we dubbed it. Started out as a wild reach of an idea for a birthday trip that quickly turned into reality. The trip spanned from North Texas eastward on to Talladega, from Dega down to Pensacola Fl. Then for the tail end a long stretch back westward with the π― Texas motor speedway to close out the journey.
9 Days, 4 tracks ,1 beach.
*2,211 highway miles logged.
*Attended 1,968+ miles worth of racing action across 5 series. Witnessing 2 first time winners. One was riding the Dente 77 π₯
We Didnt turn a single wrench, or race single lap. Was good for the crew to be on the other side of the fence as a good change of pace. Family time was #1. We met some great people along the way and made plenty of priceless memories.
Happy 16th Birthday Landon!
We will now return to our normally scheduled racing program.

Big thanks to the folks @ 5 flags speedway for letting us hit the track and cut loose for a bit!
For the first time the boys were able to set foot, survey and also learn a bit about the baddest .500 mile in the country, truly hallowed racing ground here in P Cola dating all the way back to 1953.
Jaxon seemed to think Iracing has the track scan pretty close..Although the banking on the straights did surprise him a bit.
An Early December return might prove to be worth the effort for the full effect.
