🎖 Congratulations, Lt. Col. Thomas White Jr.! 🎖

Lt. Col. Thomas White Jr. was recently promoted during a ceremony at the historic Battery D, 1-129th Field Artillery Armory, which once housed President Harry S. Truman’s unit during World War I.

The ceremony was officiated by Col. Christopher Powers, commander of the 110th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. White was joined by his wife and children, who proudly pinned his new rank as family, friends, and fellow service members looked on.
His promotion reflects his outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to the Missouri National Guard and the Soldiers he leads. Congratulations Lt. Col. White!

I chased this hawk as he was getting mobbed by crows. Quite the commotion. He finally landed in a tree. I located him with my binoculars. I was a bit away but able to zoom in at 800 mm. A lot of fun!
