Scouting America's Troop 1140 is chartered to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. Our Troop has 60 Scouts. We range from ages 10 1/2 up to 18.
We have 62 Scouts, a total of 205 Eagle Scouts, a scout-led program, and lots of camping Boy Scout Troop 1140 started out as Boy Scout 1100 in June 1961 chartered to the West Springfield Civic Association. When Kirkwood Presbyterian Church opened their doors in 1966, our Troop switched over in June of that same year and became Troop 1140. We go camping at least once a month, sometimes twice a mont

Scouting for Food (SFF) is this Saturday, November 9th. Troop 1140 will start picking up food at 9am. Please make sure your donation is in a spot / place visible from the road and marked Scouting for Food or SFF or has this sticker attached.
The food collected in our area will be donated to ECHO. Our neighborhood goal is 1,000 pounds. Let's see if we can surpass this.
