In Nepal, Uttam was forced to flee his farm and village because of his political affiliation. After years spent living in fear and hiding from danger, he finally returned home determined to rebuild his life.

When he got back, the challenges and uncertainty multiplied as he tried to restart his farming livelihood — until he connected with Convoy of Hope.

Now, Uttam's life has been transformed. He not only provides for his family with greater confidence and stability, but he has also joined Convoy’s staff to help others facing similar hardships.

What began as a story of fear and displacement has become a powerful testimony of hope, resilience, and lasting impact.

Convoy of Hope is responding to needs around the U.S., from continued tornado response in Illinois to storms that hit this week. 🚨👇

After a tornado impacted the Streator, Illinois, area, Convoy served alongside local partners to distribute essential relief supplies, including tarps, totes, water, hygiene kits, and other critical items. These items are huge for residents as they rebuild.

We are also serving in Kansas, where a derecho impacted several communities. In Salina, Kansas — which experienced straight-line winds up to 113 mph — Convoy is working with local partners and emergency managers to cut trees and clear brush for impacted residents.

If you were to line up 293,750 school buses bumper-to-bumper, they would stretch for more than 2,225 miles. Now imagine each of those buses filled with children.

14.1 million boys and girls.

That’s how many kids in the United States are going home to households that simply cannot afford to put enough food on the table once school lunches stop.

These children live in every corner of our country — in rural towns, sprawling cities, and right next door in our own neighborhoods.

Would you be willing to give up one small thing — a coffee, appetizer, or fast food meal — to feed your neighbor in need this summer?

Food insecurity can be one of the biggest challenges for families in small communities around the world. 🌎

When Yvonne found out she was pregnant with twins, her joy mingled with her fear that she might not be able to feed her children. Once she learned that they would receive a nutritious meal from Convoy of Hope at school each day, she gained the peace of mind she needed to work and provide for her family.

Freedom is a fundamental human right, and Convoy of Hope remain dedicated to helping all people thrive with dignity and hope.
