Honestly, this year I wasn’t expecting to make it on the final votes. 2026 kind of took me for a wild ride(still is) and I’ve made a lot of growth, but careless mistakes. Internally it has felt like my worst year and mostly because I wish I could fix things. But though I viewed myself differently from others, people still found it easy to push my business.

So many businesses around town have been such a huge impact in not only my professional life but personal as well. A husband and wife I will never forget told me, “we decided to nickname you sunshine. You are just a ray of sunshine whenever we see you. You’re so open, smiley, bubbly. You never change.” Spreading the yellow is all I know how to do. So to everyone who nominated me, thank you. You keep the yellow going. 🫶🏻
