Feelings can help us notice what’s happening in our hearts, but they were never meant to be the compass for our lives. A road can feel easy, normal, or even right — and still lead somewhere we never wanted to go.
Jesus invites us to trust his way, even when it’s narrow. Because what matters most is not how a road feels when we step onto it, but where it ultimately takes us. Watch this weekend's full message at wschurch.org/watch.

Promotion Sunday is this weekend!
This Sunday, June 7, we’re celebrating as kids and students officially move up to their next grade level! Our Kids Ministry is a place where friendships grow, faith deepens, and every child is reminded of how deeply they’re loved by God. If your family hasn’t jumped into all that Kids' Ministry has to offer just yet, this Sunday is the perfect time to start!

Summer often brings a different pace of life. Vacations, camps, mission trips, special events, and new opportunities can all become reminders to stay connected to God and attentive to what He is doing around us.
Our Summer Prayer Guide is designed to help you pray intentionally throughout the season. Inside, you'll find creative prayer prompts, ways to pray for West Side's summer ministry efforts, and opportunities to support some of our mission partners through prayer. Whether you use it daily or simply return to it throughout the summer, we hope it helps strengthen your faith and keep your eyes focused on Jesus.
Pick up a digital copy at the Resource Area (Next to the Next Steps Area) on Sunday or view a digital copy using the link below.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed God could save them from the fire, but their faith was not dependent on the outcome. “Even if” is the language of a faith that trusts God’s character, not just his answers.
Whatever you are facing, may your heart move from fear-filled “what ifs” to faithful “even ifs.” God is still worthy of your trust.

Summer Nights are here — and they’re off to a strong start!
There’s something meaningful about students choosing to stay connected during the summer — showing up, building friendships, and continuing to grow in their faith even when routines change.
If you’re a high schooler — or you know one — who’s looking for a place to belong, there’s room for you here.
Join our high-schoolers every other week for HSM Summer Nights and be a part of it

God did not keep Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the furnace. He met them in it. He did not keep Daniel from the lions’ den. He was with him there. He did not keep Joseph from the pit or the prison. He stayed with him through it all.
Whatever you are walking through, you are not alone. The same God who was faithful then is faithful now.

Faith does not mean the fire, the battle, or the valley disappear. It means we stand in them knowing God is still present, still powerful, and still victorious.
Whatever you are facing today, may this be your reminder: if God is not defeated, you are not defeated. Keep trusting. Keep standing. Keep moving from “what if?” to “even if.” Listen to all our Sunday songs at wschurch.org/songs.

A quick heads-up for families: our playground will be closed this week, June 1-6, for construction and deep cleaning.
These updates will help create an even better experience for kids and families in the weeks ahead. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming families back to the playground next week!
