Weekend baseball recap.

The boys traveled to Mason City and took on two very good teams.

First game was against the Lincoln Rail Splitters 8U. The boys fell behind early 10-4 but battled all the way back to pull out an 18-15 win.

Second game was against SmallTown Sting 8U, and it was another back-and-forth battle. The boys stayed tough and came away with another win, 17-14.

One thing about this team — even when they fall behind, they never give up. We’ve got another full week of baseball starting Monday night before heading to Forsyth next weekend.

Baseball Weekend Recap ⚾️

The boys traveled over to Indy this weekend to take on some very tough competition and absolutely battled all weekend long.

Game 1: Took on Indiana’s #1 ranked 7U team and battled to an 18-18 tie.
Game 2: Faced Indy’s #5 ranked 8A team and finished with another hard-fought 15-15 tie.
Sunday: Matched up against Indy’s #1 ranked 8A team and came up short 17-8.

Couldn’t be prouder of the way these boys competed all weekend. They showed heart, toughness, and never backed down playing against some of the best teams around. More importantly, they got some great team bonding time together and continued getting better every game.
