The meaning behind the name:

Selali is my middle name. It's derived from the Ewe language of the Ewe people in Ghana, West Africa. The literal translation of Selali is God (the hearer) lives or exists implying that when we call on God in prayer He will hear us.

When I started my photography journey, I knew I wanted a Christ-centered hobby that would eventually be a business. There was no better name than Selali.

God has always been good to me and dedicating my craft to Him feels right, no matter how infinitesimal.

Let’s Talk Shutter Speed! Did you know that:
- The higher or faster it is, the less or darker your image will be
- The lower or slower it is, the more light or brighter your image will be

I’ve always been a fan of Canon cameras and lenses ever since I got mine in 2012. They’re easier to work with, less bulky, the image qualities are worth bragging about, and I love the colour accuracy.

Unknown fact about me:

I’m always awkward when I’m being photographed but I love having my pictures taken professionally. For whatever reason, I never know how to smile or act, and it always takes a few camera clicks for me to get comfortable.

It’s a struggle but just like life, the best things are beyond our comfort zones. So I will continue to push through the awkwardness
