24/7 coverage from Firefighter/EMT's in 116 square miles of North Greene County near Springfield, MO
In 1991 residents voted to grow the district from a membership based service to a tax based all volunteer fire protection district. In 2011 voters agreed to grow the district again, to allow for full time fire protection in the form of 13 full time firefighters. Recently, in April 2015 voters took to the polls again and agreed to merge the Pleasant View and Ebenzer FPD's into one Ebenezer Fire Pro

We would like our residents to know that we are currently working alongside legal counsel regarding the recent claim made by RE Smith.
Ebenezer Fire Protection District denies any liability regarding the claim. Once we file a response, it will become public record and be viewable by the public. At this point we have no further comment.
We will continue to keep our citizens apprised as we are able.

Today 16 students graduated from the state accredited EMT Initial program hosted here at Ebenezer Fire.
Students completed over 180 hours of rigorous cognitive course work, psychomotor evaluations, ambulance ride alongs, and testing that spanned the course of 8 weeks. Students are now certified in healthcare provider CPR, certified to at least the EMR level, and are eligible for testing to become licensed EMTs.
Students came from here at Ebenezer, Nevada, Waynesville, Marshfield, Strafford, Ozark, Marionville, Buffalo, and Springfield.
Congratulations to all students on your hard work and dedication!

The district is currently slammed with back to back calls involving disabled vehicles, injured motorists, and medicals from the hail. Well over 20 vehicles were disabled on Highway 13 alone!
