This past July, Alex had the honor and privilege of attending Student Leadership University (SLU 101) in Orlando, FL for four days of intense leadership training and it was such a rich and meaningful experience, he’s asked to attend SLU 201 in Washington D.C. for Summer 2025!

Here are some of the places he’ll go while he’s there:
National Monuments
The Holocaust Museum
Arlington Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
The U.S. Capitol
The Museum of the Bible
The National Archives

Here are some of the things he’ll get to experience while he’s there:
*Observe and meditate on the cost of freedom & honor through a private wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery
*Grapple with deep questions about justice in the shadow of the Holocaust
*Learn the power of legacy while exploring our national monuments
*Watch theology and culture intersect in the hall of Congress and faith lived out in the public square
*Understand his responsibility and calling to be a citizen.
