Salad Slinger

With a heavy heart I am suspending operations at the Salad Slinger kitchen. We reached a point of growth where I had to decide which of my businesses was going to get the bulk of my time and it has to be the one that pays the bills. Salad Slinger has been "in the black" since day one. Meaning at least I haven't lost money! It's a very popular, successful and viable business and deserves "someones" full attention to really explode. On the side, my primary business has suffered, impacting my income. So Salad Slinger has to close. But, in the meantime we are saving for a roadside "espresso stand" type setup where we can do all sorts of fresh fruits and veggies full time. This is not a goodbye, but rather a "see you later" stay tuned on this page for updates!

Ltd construction workers yanked the water line out of our building this morning at 3am and have spent all creatively remodelling our parking lot trying to find the busted pipe. They didn't find it. It's in the concrete UNDER the building. Landlord came to say the building will be unusable while they jackhammer up our floors throughout the building to find the pipe! We will be closed all next week because of this. No salads next week :(

Revealed! The all new Bacon Cheeseburger salad! It has all beef patty, bacon strips, cheddar cheese, romaine and iceburg lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and a secret sauce I'm not allowed to mention by name, but I think you'll figure it out!

No salads on Friday because of the holiday weekend. But tomorrow is the unveiling of our new Bacon Cheeseburger salad! diced ground beef patty, cheddar cheese, 2 sliced strips of bacon, pickles, onions tomatoes, lettuce, and a "bobs burger express" type dressing. It's going to be delicious!!!

You know sometimes when you get that Lil baby bell pepper rolling around inside? I ate it today thinking it would be sweet and tender like most baby vegetables. NOT, ew gross, do not eat those. Yucky!
