Due to the inclement weather forecast for Monday, the Memorial Day ceremony will now be held in the high school auditorium at 10am sharp. All are welcome.
The parade and refreshments have been cancelled.

Remembering with gratitude all those who have died in service to this country.

The American Experience display is open today from 1-4pm in the Palmer Museum at the Springfield Library. The traveling exhibit continues Monday from 10am-Noon, then it travels on to Pennsylvania. Enjoy the history and air conditioning today!

You all know how Hannah and Rev. James Caldwell's story affected the outcome of the Battle of Springfield- come to "the church where it happened" for a story slam and panel discussion by Regional and academic historians! Free and open to the public on May 30th 1-3:30pm Presbyterian Church of Springfield.

Shout out to the James Caldwell School 4th grade classes that enjoyed the Historic Walking Tour this week! From the DAR/Battleground Cemetery to the Historic Cannon Ball House to the First Presbyterian Church- we packed a lot of history into two beautiful mornings!
