Missouri State Model United Nations

The MO State Model UN team was recognized by the Reynolds College at the Annual Judy Awards. Our team was given the “Deans Champion Award” by RCASH Dean Shawn Wahl. This award was given to represent our determination to the public affairs mission of the school and academic excellence. Also our sponsor, Dr. Ashley Leinweber was given the award for “Outstanding Teaching in the Social Sciences!” We are so proud of our team and cannot wait for the next year. 🧸🇺🇳

Congratulations our team for another great year! This team attended the most amount of conferences we ever attended and our executive team attended the National Model United Nations conference in Manhattan. Through lots of research, laughs, games, and late nights we have had an amazing 2025-2026 year.

Hello everyone! This week we will be holding our dress simulation for Ozark Regional Model Arab League. Please come ready to learn and practice parli pro. The attire for OZMAL will be business professional so come in your best fit!

Also, we will be taking nominations for our executive roles next year. If you wish to nominate someone please attend. We will be taking nominations until Election Day though. If you cannot attend the meeting please let our president know or .abigail our Vice President!🧸🇺🇳

Our executive team represented The State of Palestine at the National Model United Nations conference this past week in New York City. This was the first time Missouri State University has attended and it was an incredibly fulfilling experience. From cross cultural immersion to research skills this conference has taught us so much. 8 students went and were represented in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd General Assemblies as well as the UNEA and NPT committees.

The conference was capped off with closing ceremonies at the United Nations Headquarters General Assembly Hall where the President of the 80th General Assembly spoke. Thank you to all our donors and our supporters for making this dream come true!🗽🧸🇺🇳

No meeting for the last week of March! Our executive team will be in NYC for the National Model United Nations Conference where we will work in the actual UN General Assembly. Wish us luck!🧸🇺🇳🗽
