We collaborated with research and strategy group Future IQ to create a mark for a deep research initiative they are doing in our community being led by some of Springfield’s finest to help develop a data-driven roadmap for Springfield for the next 25 years. Having been a part of the last 25 years of development, it’s been interesting to hear hopes and dreams for what the future holds realizing I’ll be in my 70’s when the plans reach maturity. Yikes.

As a small agency theres always the question of whether or not to make things too central to your own personality, your own work. For 20 years I’ve gone back and forth with we vs I. “Does the small team limit the work you compete for”… In reality, there is definitely a we component to Hucklebuck and the small team we have and partners we pull together at times. But in many ways Hucklebuck is a fairly autobiographical expression. The term personal brand is pretty played. But I am going to make more of an effort, at least on this platform, to share more personal tidbits. I split time between an office in downtown Springfield, Ohio and my home studio on our 5 acre homestead, which is where I am today. Surrounded by things that inspire me. Old cars, nature, my kid’s art, junk and more junk. I hope you’re in a place today to surround yourself with the things that inspire you. For now, head Hucklebuck signing off.
