Capital Area Realtors
The Capital Area REALTORS® is the voice for real estate in the Capital Area.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Sudi Blood on April 17.
Sudi began her real estate career and became a member of CAR in 1993 while affiliated with Coldwell Banker. She later transferred her business to RE/MAX Professionals in 2000 and retired in 2025.
Throughout her distinguished career as a REALTOR®, Sudi dedicated herself to service, contributing her time and leadership to numerous committees, including Forms, Grievance, and Social, chairing each during her tenure. Her true passion, however, was the Community Service Committee. Guided by compassion and generosity, Sudi worked tirelessly to support CAR’s fundraising efforts and inspired others through her example. Her energy and commitment left a lasting impact and were deeply missed following her retirement. In recognition of her service, she was honored with CAR’s Community Service Award in 2018.
Sudi was equally committed to her professional growth, earning the NAR GRI, CRS, and SRS designations. Her dedication to CAR, the real estate profession, and the community was further recognized when she received the Hall of Fame Award in 2016.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sudi’s family, friends, and former colleagues.
Rest in peace, Sudi. You will be deeply missed by many.
No services will be held.
