We are incredibly honored and grateful to share that Why Not Mindset has been selected as a featured nonprofit by PIFster - Pay It Forward Charity for an upcoming voting cycle!

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce our mission to an entirely new community of people who believe in making a difference through everyday generosity.

At Why Not Mindset, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity for a second chance. Every day, we work to help individuals navigate the critical first 90 days after incarceration by providing practical support, mentorship, encouragement, and hope.

We want to sincerely thank the entire PIFster team for believing in our mission and giving us the opportunity to be part of their incredible platform. We are looking forward to working together and sharing the impact that can be made when communities come together to support lasting change.

What does “Why Not?” mean to you?

Why Not Mindset was never meant to be just a program.

It is a movement of people willing to step closer.

Closer to the ones rebuilding.
Closer to families trying to heal.
Closer to communities that need real support, not just good intentions.

Our mission is simple, but it takes all of us: help people develop the mindset, support, and direction they need to move forward.

That means partnerships matter.

Churches. Businesses. Community leaders. Volunteers. Families. People who understand that when one life gets stronger, the whole community feels it.

We are not here to do this alone. We are here to build something that lasts.

Who do you know that should be part of this work?

Some of the most powerful moments we see will never be posted.

Not because they do not matter.

A participant sits down and says, “I am tired of doing it the old way.”
A goal gets written down.
A hard conversation happens.
A man or woman begins to believe that change is possible again.

That is impact.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

The Fourth of July is more than fireworks lighting up the sky or the smell of burgers on the grill. It is a day to pause and remember the courage of those who believed that freedom was worth fighting for and the sacrifices made by generations who followed to protect it.

Freedom is a gift that has never been free. It has been earned through sacrifice, defended by brave men and women in uniform, and preserved by ordinary Americans who have chosen to stand for the ideals this nation was founded upon.

Today, may we celebrate with grateful hearts, cherish the time spent with family and friends, and remember those who made it possible for us to enjoy the liberties we often take for granted.

As we mark America's 250th Independence Day, may we never lose sight of the values that unite us: freedom, courage, resilience, and hope.
