One of the greatest gifts God gives us in ministry is one another. Leadership can feel lonely, but it was never meant to be lived alone. Behind every faithful ministry leader is someone who prayed, encouraged, listened, or simply reminded them to keep going.
Refresh Moment: Text, write, or tag a ministry friend who has encouraged you. Let's take a moment to celebrate the women who help us stay faithful.

Not every season of leadership feels fruitful.
Some seasons are spent planting.
Some are spent watering.
Some are spent waiting.
Don't mistake a quiet season for an unproductive one.
God is often doing His deepest work beneath the surface before anyone else can see it. Stay faithful to what He's called you to today, and trust Him with tomorrow.
Refresh Moment: Take a moment today to thank God for one area where He's growing something you can't yet see.

Summer has a way of filling our calendars—and sometimes emptying our souls. As ministry leaders, we often become so focused on caring for others that we forget to sit at the feet of Jesus ourselves. Before you plan another meeting, answer another text, or prepare for the next ministry moment, take a few minutes to simply be with Him.
His presence isn't a reward for finishing your to-do list.
It's where your strength is renewed.
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength... — Isaiah 40:31
Refresh Moment: Spend five uninterrupted minutes with no agenda—just thanking God for His faithfulness and resting in His presence.
In addition to New Testament passages, Refresh Ministry Women Cohort Members read several books relevant to personal spiritual formation. In our most recent Blog article, writer Rebecca Barton shares a review of one of those, along with a testimonial of her journey with RMW cohort groups these past 2 years.

The most productive thing you can do when you're overwhelmed isn't make another list. It's bring it to the One who actually knows what to do with it.

One day you're going to look back at this exact season and see the hand of God so clearly it takes your breath away.

One of the most burned-out people in the entire Bible wasn't a failure. He was a prophet who had just witnessed one of God's greatest miracles.
Elijah's story reminds us that spiritual victories don't make us immune to exhaustion. Even the strongest people can reach a place where they whisper, "I've had enough."
What amazes me most is God's response.
He didn't shame Elijah for feeling overwhelmed. He met him with compassion. Before He gave direction, He gave rest. Before He spoke to Elijah's calling, He cared for Elijah's body.
If you're tired today—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—you don't have to pretend you're okay. The same God who met Elijah under that tree still meets His daughters today.
He knows where you are.
He sees what you're carrying.
And He has exactly what you need for the next step.

Slow down for just a second.
God is doing more in your ordinary day than you might think.
We often look for Him in the big moments—the breakthrough, the miracle, the answered prayer. But many times, He's quietly reminding us that He's been with us all along.
Today, pause. Take a deep breath. Notice the kindness of someone around you. Listen for His voice in the quiet. Thank Him for one small thing.
The more we learn to recognize God's presence in the ordinary, the more we'll discover He was never absent in the first place.
"The Lord is near to all who call on Him." — Psalm 145:18

No matter what season you find yourself in today, God is still at work in your life.
Maybe you're believing for healing. Maybe you're praying for restoration. Maybe you're asking God to provide direction, freedom, or peace. Whatever you're carrying today, don't lose heart. The God who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.
