Summer has decided to return to the Ozarks again sizzling us like bacon. We just have to survive a couple more fake fall's before fall truly arrives in grand fashion. Stay cool out there.
The vicious heat appears to have no intention of leaving the Ozarks, at least for now.

RepeaterLive (repeaterlive.com), a new live repeater map built by Daniel Régis, VE2DRG, of Québec, attacks the problem by letting the data age honestly. Operators confirm machines from the field with one-tap check-ins and optional 1–5 signal reports. Every listing shows who last heard it and when, reception dots show where each repeater is actually being heard, and a 90-day cycle automatically flags anything nobody can confirm — no listing sits "verified" forever.

It usually amazes people when they learn how hot pavement gets that they walk there dog on. This can cause significant paw burns. If your hot its likely your dog is hot too. If your thirsty out in the heat, your dog could probably use a drink of cold water too. Keep there welfare in mind when your out with your dog!

NWS anticipates development of these storms to be around 5 PM.
Besides the threat of storms, we continue to have broiling heat to contend with.
